[For a moment when the PCD clicks on all the user hears is the static of the audio. Crackling of movement in whatever place the person found themselves in.]

Oh! I think that's it-- [The exclamation was quiet, barely audible, but the feed comes on to video to show the young girl. If possible, her features hold a quiet sort of worry.]

If anyone can hear this, my name is Hotaru Tomoe. I'm not sure how I got here... but even I can guess I won't go home soon. Who would do something like this? I hope everyone's alright... Oh, it seems silly talking to this without knowing if anyone else can hear-- Haruka-papa, Michiru-mama, Set-- [She shakes her head in resolve, hand pressed to her chest, Hotaru puts on her best face.]

If someone can really hear, please, tell me about this place.

[Hotaru hadn't meant right then, of course, but the larger part of her wanted to make sure their princess was alright.]

[After a moment, she does pull away and manage that small, sensible smile.]

Maybe we should go?

Right! [And to cheer them both up, Usagi reaches for Hotaru's hand as she starts to paint a pleasant picture of daily life at the temple.]

You can see your old room and live there again. We have a lot of your things from back then still, too! And you can play with Chibiusa.

[While she easily enough takes Usagi's hands, Hotaru has to pause at her words.]

My old room? I don't remember being here before, Usagi-san. [And it's concerning. Because she trusts and believes in her princess, but that's weird.]

I know. When people come back, they don't remember.

[Over and over and over again, she relives the girls forgetting her after the battle with Beryl and Metalia, as each new handful of friends arrives again with no memories of her or knowing her or being friends at all.

How many times can she keep smiling and saying 'we'll start from the beginning then'?]

[She doesn't like that. At all. How many have come and left their princess? How hurt was she? Hotaru peers up at her and then nods.]

I will keep you company while I'm here. It's our time now that matters.

Mm. [Usagi nods quickly; agreement in that is easy.]

So I'll definitely help take care of you, and make sure you're happy, as long as you're here, alright?

Oh! Please don't worry about me.

Isn't it alright if I want to be with you and help you out? You're a very brave and strong girl, but everybody needs help sometimes.

Usagi-san... Mm, all right. We can help each other.

Good. Because you've already helped me a lot, and I should pay back the favor, shouldn't I? [Have a quick, bright smile.]

You're our princess; it's our duty to help you.

Hotaru-chan, before that, I'm your friend. Alright? [This comes with a slightly tentative smile.]

[That earns a nod and a smile.] Of course, Usagi-san.

[It's good to have you back, Hotaru.]

Do you still collect lamps? We can go looking for some if you want, sometime soon.

Mm! When we'd go out sometimes Michiru-mama and Haruka-papa would buy me one.

There are a lot of lamps you could probably keep here. Only one part of the city has electricity, so people can't use them for much.

Couldn't someone bring them electricity?

I don't know if anyone knows how to do that sort of thing here. There might not even be everything they'd need for it.

Someone might, and we can help them.

Hotaru-chan, next time I help with repair work, would you like to come, too?

Alright, Usagi-san.

You'll be a big help to everyone. [And so will she; no more than anyone else with a strong pair of arms, probably, but it feels good to at least be able to do something.]

We'll do what we can, right?

[She knows Hotaru will keep that faith, and do everything she can; but even Usagi can't completely forget the mission of Saturn - and the state this world is in. She's been on the other side of Saturn's glaive before (and cut by it here).

Still, she keeps these worries at bay without too much trouble. They've fought alongside Saturn for a long time now back home, just as they've been friends with Hotaru. It'll work out among them.]

You're right. Hey, Hotaru-chan...

Ever since back then, can you still do things like healing someone? That could be really helpful here!

[But did that mission count here? That's the question eating at Hotaru. Her main duty, aside from that, is to help protect the princess and their world. Until Usagi is threatened, Hotaru has no reason to... Besides, she knows her duty quite well, in the end.]

[Hotaru shakes her head, looking up at her.]

I haven't had to use it in a long time, Usagi-san, but I think I can.
